![]() ![]() I suggest something like reveal X mist tiles (3-5) to recover 1 point of mana, it would fit with her "magic" theme and allow for a more spell oriented play (Sorceress im looking at you) Secondly - Some of the gods need reworks to be viable, most specifically the goddess of magic - shes just downright awful. These either need implimented or removed until they have tangible effects or rewards. I know very much this game is a work in progress, there seems to be a rich story component to the dungeon with all the little ? sub quests, but having over 50% of them have "dead end" answers, for example the book quest where you get "A page of a scroll book, or a Page of a Potion book" or the infamous "Dwarf Ring" that does absolutely nothing really kills it. Neat hourglass trick with uber bosses = use Cross to get your health to 1, hourglass them and switch on turn 2 with 1 charge of cross left, then smush them, ive killed 999 health mobs this way : ) I will further say that the hourglass is probably my fav item in the game, I have been saved by this thing SOO many times. I would further say that the "stamina rule" dosent really apply to vampire since vampires passive is he gets 2x heals from every heart he picks up as well as using his blood suck ability thereby very much making him a STR main stat person. As regularity said once you "unlock" the endless dungeons (which I love by the way) stat allocation changes a bit, alternating stamina and str seems to be the way to go. The strategies I posted are for the normal 20 floor dungeon and are my initial impressions. Those are some survival tips off the top of my head, hope they help ya delve deeper and longer! Leveling priorities = STR always STR, nothing else ever, maybe a point of int to wear a belt (4 is the most youll need) Wands/Bows suck, they need better implimentation in the game, ignore these weapons, sell them. Youll notice the horrid horrid penalty to hit on most 2 handers which will make you miss more often then not. TWO HANDED WEAPONS GENERALLY SUCK - yes they can generate big numbers but dual wielding > everything or main hand with a blue/yellow shield. Life on Kill/Life on mist tile = These skills will keep you going in the dungeon and allow you to live far far longer, stack these. Mana on Kill = Rare mod on stuff that paired with certain skills makes them broken, stack this. Reveal X number of extra tiles = This one is amazing, clear dungeon floors 2-3x as fast.Ĭhain attack on weapons - This hits every monster thats "visible" depending on your chain bonus, also amazing. Clear floors of all the monsters, trying to power dive to get to lower levels will just kill you quick, its not worth it. Kill everything, yes, thats right, everything that moves dies. SELL EVERYTHING, gold persists thru death and unlocks passive perks. Generally - Its not worth buying 200-300gp equipment from a shop. ![]() There are certain gold ranged monsters with an attack = to your chars life, THE ONLY WAY to survive is to ankh and kill them or knife them or crystal freeze them immediately, pay attention when ya enter a new floor or a mini dungeon.ġ0. Certain items are just plain lifesavers, the hourglass is #1 of these, you can full health swap a newly discovered monster using it, ie - your health is at 2 its health is at 40 you use hourglass you have max health it has 2, kill it.ĩ. You will occasionally come across a floor with a billion mages/vampires/ranged things destroying you, save those knives, blue crystals, and ankhs for those floors and pray.Ĩ. (He only appears on floor 15+ it seems, so delve until ya get him)Ħ. No drawbacks, no penalties, and provides a relatively strong bonus. The god of death (reaper) is the best god, period. If you see a "new" god in a delve (one you have not unlocked) then betray your current god to unlock that statue.ĥ. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE of using the "Treasure God" he costs 300 coins, provides little to no benefit and will depete your gold used to level up the temple passives.Ĥ. The God of War is probably your best bet for longevity at first, he is the *best* starting delve god. really, dont even bother playing as her, she is fragile, has a horrible passive, and will just cause you frustration.ģ. It is directly related to which god you worship, you will always need the same pairings of runes for the tattoos of the same god.Ģ. You have to worship a god to use the "tatoo" shop. The canonical hours were introduced to early Christianity from Second Temple Judaism.īy AD 60, the Didache recommends disciples to pray the Lord's Prayer three times a day this practice found its way into the canonical hours as well. This structure tracked a 24-hour day using both sundials and mechanical hour indicators. The Greek astronomer Andronicus of Cyrrhus oversaw the construction of a horologion called the Tower of the Winds in Athens during the first century BCE. The day-and-night ( νυχθήμερον) was probably first divided into twenty-four hours by Hipparchus of Nicaea. īy the Hellenistic period the night was also divided into 12 hours. Initially, only the day was divided into 12 seasonal hours and the night into three or four night watches. Instead of dividing the time between one midnight and the next into 24 equal hours, they divided the time from sunrise to sunset into 12 "seasonal hours" (their actual duration depending on season), and the time from sunset to the next sunrise again in 12 "seasonal hours". The ancient Greeks kept time differently from the way we do today. (9:45 may be read "nine forty-five" or "a quarter till ten".) Whole hours on a 12-hour clock are expressed using the contracted phrase o'clock, from the older of the clock. The time of day is typically expressed in English in terms of hours. Its Proto-Indo-European root has been reconstructed as *yeh₁- ("year, summer"), making hour distantly cognate with year. Like Old English tīd and stund, hṓrā was originally a vaguer word for any span of time, including seasons and years. The Anglo-Norman term was a borrowing of Old French ure, a variant of ore, which derived from Latin hōra and Greek hṓrā ( ὥρα). It displaced tide tīd, 'time' and stound stund, span of time. Hour is a development of the Anglo-Norman houre and Middle English ure, first attested in the 13th century. ![]() However, on rare occasions an hour may incorporate a positive or negative leap second, effectively making it appear to last 3,599 or 3,601 seconds, in order to keep UTC within 0.9 seconds of UT1, the latter of which is based on measurements of the mean solar day. In the modern metric system, hours are an accepted unit of time defined as 3,600 atomic seconds. Since this unit was not constant due to long term variations in the Earth's rotation, the hour was finally separated from the Earth's rotation and defined in terms of the atomic or physical second.
